An oasis in the middle of the red and brown rocks, the Havasupai campgrounds are rich with green plants, large cottonwood trees and even grapevines that would make Dionysus sing. Taking up the majority of the way between Havasu and Mooney Falls, the Havasu Creek flows alongside the entire length of the campground.
There is so much to do in the camp ground and it’s easy to enjoy a relaxing time after hours of hiking. Sleep in the shade shade or cool off in the water. This is a wonderful place to visit and there is nearly always space for a reservation. Some areas even remain completely quiet and lonely. The size of this area is vast!
